Nodicat - The Formula of Silence

End-to-end encrypted note-taking and independent living space revolution under zero surveillance.

Nodicat: The Formula of Silence

Nodicat is not just a simple rich text editor; it is a closed-circuit thought space where industry-standard encryption algorithms meet the principle of ‘Absolute Modularity’. Behind the scenes, Nodicat runs its advanced fluid block architecture inside an isolated JavaScript virtual machine (VM) on the client side. Every text block, heading, and link you create is asymmetrically encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it even leaves your device’s RAM to reach our PostgreSQL databases. This architecture guarantees that any host server connected to the Torhun infrastructure (or any malicious vector) sees your data not as a sequence of letters, but as an unsolvable pile of static noise. In short, Nodicat is a sterile armor where our Go-based high-speed service grid and Dockerized isolated containers protect your thoughts through the laws of mathematics.

Isolation Architecture and Client-Side Encryption

In the modern era, digitizing an idea means putting it on the market. Most note-taking applications feed what you write into AI models and profiling engines in the shadows for background indexing or “AI”-powered predictive features. Nodicat is architecturally blind to this exploitation.

  • Zero Indexing: Your texts are never indexed on Torhun servers. Searches occur at WebAssembly-powered speeds exclusively on hardware-decrypted blocks downloaded locally to your device memory (Local Indexing). When you search for a priceless idea, our server is entirely unaware.
  • Atomic Block Encryption: Excluding the “Block ID” generated during your dynamic block movements, plain text strings are notched within hardware boundaries in stream form via ChaCha20-Poly1305.

Fluid End-to-End Design

You will not pay the price of security with a “slow and ugly interface.” Our interface rendering mechanism, which glides with zero friction between ShadowDOM and Virtual DOM, hides these heavy mathematical computations in the background, maintaining a fluid 60 frames per second (60fps).

The moment you press \space to trigger a code block, the background isolation shields are already deployed. We created dark screens for hyper-bright minds. Using Nodicat—a flag of rebellion against traditional note-taking programs—is to experience the universal feeling of knowing you are not being watched every day.
